A Ricky Gervais lookalike who starred in an innovative marketing campaign developed by K3 Business Technology Group (K3) has wowed millions of TV viewers.
Tim Oliver, who played the hapless ‘David’ in K3’s hugely successful viral marketing campaign ‘The Factory’ dazzled judges with six other lookalikes on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. The Chippindoubles are in the semi-final line tonight, Friday 4th June.
As ‘Ricky’ he appeared alongside other lookalike stars ‘David Beckham’, ‘Gordon Ramsay’, ‘Mr T’, ‘Daniel Craig’, ‘Will Smith’ and ‘Simon Cowell’ in their act called ‘The Chippendoubles’ on the hit show. They took the show by storm before the judges propelled the act through to the next round.
Last year in ‘The Factory’ Tim Oliver, as David, learned how SYSPRO ERP is applicable to a wide range of environments and how it could solve his own company’s issues. His epic journey took him to businesses throughout the UK to find out how SYSPRO had helped them. Episodes of ‘The Factory’ can be seen by visiting www.k3scs.com/thefactory.
Ellen Hoefste, Marketing Manager of K3 Business Technology Group, said: “Tim did a fantastic job in helping us produce ‘The Factory’ and we wish him every success with his fellow lookalikes as ‘The Chippendoubles’.”
